Namaste!

I am honoured and privileged to serve as President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Hong Kong for the year 2021 – 2023. I am highly grateful and thankful to my predecessor, Ms. Radhika Gurung (Tika) for her leadership and the members of the Executive Committee and Board of 2019-2021 for their outstanding contributions to NRNAHK during her presidency.

As we continue to navigate the disruptions and challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I’d like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to all the people of Nepalese community in Hong Kong for the collective response to fight against the spread of the virus.

Like previous years, we have formed an enthusiastic team of executive members who will be grabbing the batons and continue the relay this year to serve our community. During the next two years my goal will be to encourage the membership, connecting and collaborating and bring together other non-profit Nepalese organizations, associations, communities, and individuals based in Hong Kong for the overall development of Nepalese Community. My utmost priority will be empowering the youths and women and inspire them to be more involved to take on leadership roles.

I shall remain committed to the people of the Nepalese community and will continue to address the problem faced by them as well as serve the mission and values of NRNA organization.

I truly appreciate and encourage you to share any feedback and suggestions you may have as we work together to serve the community in the upcoming year. I look forward to your continued support and working with all of you as we emerge from the global health pandemic.
