Welcome to the official website of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Hong Kong, dedicated to serving the Nepalese community and fostering connections since 2004. Established on November 26, 2004, and officially registered with the Hong Kong government, the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Hong Kong has served as the leading representative organization for the Nepali diaspora for over two decades. As the official National Coordination Council (NCC) of the global NRNA movement, our mission is guided by our constitution and the core values of unity, cooperation, and service.

Our President's Message

It is with a profound sense of responsibility and deep gratitude that I, along with my entire Executive Committee, accept the trust you have placed in us to lead the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Hong Kong for the 2025-2027 term. Your faith in our team is both an honor and a mandate, and we are fully committed to serving our vibrant community with dedication and integrity.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to all the past leaders, patrons, and members who have tirelessly contributed to building this organization. Their hard work has created a strong foundation upon which we now have the privilege to build.

Our vision for this tenure is clear and is guided by three core principles: Unity, Action, and Accountability.

Unity (एकता) is our greatest strength. Hong Kong is home to a diverse and talented Nepali community, and our primary goal is to foster a spirit of togetherness. We will actively work with all Nepali social organizations, community leaders, and individuals to create an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued. It is only through collective effort that we can achieve our shared goals.

Action (कार्य) must be our identity. We are committed to moving beyond words and delivering tangible results. Our focus will be on programs that directly benefit our community—from promoting the welfare and prosperity of Nepalis in Hong Kong to strengthening our cultural identity and encouraging investment in Nepal. We will advocate for the rights and interests of our community on crucial issues, including the global NRNA movement for NRN citizenship.

Accountability (जवाफदेहिता) is our promise. We understand that we are not just a community group but a legally registered entity in Hong Kong. Therefore, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of good governance, operating with complete transparency, and ensuring full compliance with local laws, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Your trust requires our accountability, and we will honor that.

The journey ahead is one of shared responsibility. The success of this committee depends on your active participation, your constructive feedback, and your unwavering support. Our door will always be open to your ideas and suggestions.
